Razer has just released the new Razer BlackWidow Ultimate 2016. They mmade a few minor changes from the 2014 and 2015 models are a few tweaks, less keys, and a lower price ($109). The major difference between the 2014 and 2016 models is the lack of keys. The 2016 doesn't have the 5 macro keys that the versions from 2014 and older had. Now there is a unified audio pass through cable, more customizable and individually backlit keys, backlighting on the spacebar and function keys, and an improved indicator panel.

Blackwidow Ultimate 2016 features
Individually, programmable backlit keys
Green LED back lighting
Razer Green mechanical key switches rated for up to 60 million keystrokes and 50g actuation force
10 key roll-over anti-ghosting
Reduced footprint
Backlit spacebar and Fn key
1x USB and unified audio pass through
1000Hz polling
Braided fiber cable

Razer's Synapse software is always recieving updates along with the new hardware. This allows consumers to feel comfortable knowing that when they buy a new Razer product, they will be able to customize it to their favorite settings.

Overall, the BlackWidow 2016 leaves a smaller footprint on your desk and also (more importantly) on your wallet. Again, Razer has made a great update to their flagship mechanical keyboard.
