Soon after the first model was released in 2004, the diamondback has been hard to get your hands on. The first model wasn't almost extinct for no reason. The mouse had a very unique shape that had caught many gamers' attention. It was long, skinny, and ergonomic. People have wanted a remake for years.

Now there is no more wait. Razer just recently announced the new revival of the diamondback. Razer has kept the lighting strips on the side of the mouse like in the old version. Some see this as too flashy, but in my opinion, it's completely fine because if you dont like it, turn it off. Outside of aesthetics, razer has enhanced the sensors to an incredible 16,000 dpi (dots per inch).
The diamondback will be released on October 1st starting at $90 for the mouse itself, and $100 for the collectors edition.
